As a Design Engineeryou will be working on: Jigs, Fixtures and special purpose machineryfor the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Nuclear Industries.
Design Engineer Main Duties
1. 3D model designs of tooling/machinery components.
2. 2D detail drawings for manufacture.
3. Technical documentation creation.
Design Engineer Essential Skills
4. Proficient in any/all of the following CAD packages:
5. SolidWorks.
6. Siemens NX.
7. CATIA V5.
8. Competent with Microsoft office software suite.
9. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Design Engineer Desired Skills
10. Aerospace, Defence or Nuclear industry experience.
11. Time served Toolmaker/Pattern Maker.
Design Engineer Desired Experience
12. UKCA/CE Marking process.
13. FEA Analysis / Basic calculations.
