National Mechanical Account Manager – TPS Team
Full permanent position, field based role. Reports to the National Performance Manager.
Responsibilities
* Identify, negotiate and manage ongoing relationships with key National Mechanical Accounts to deliver growth in line with TPS turnover and profit plan. Accounts include National Fast Fit chains and large Volkswagen Group independent specialists.
* Seek new opportunities within established accounts in direct competition with independent motor factors in the UK Aftermarket.
* Stay abreast of market developments to support Volkswagen Group’s strong position in the National Account sales channel.
Skills & Experience
* Track record of consistently managing operational performance and achieving great results.
* Ability to build, maintain and develop excellent customer relationships.
* Skilled at stimulating change in businesses (mind-sets and processes) to deliver growth and sustainability.
* Comfortable analysing detailed statistical, numerical and financial data.
* Great communicator who is well‑organised and able to prioritise.
* Eager to learn in a fast‑paced sales environment.
* A team player who can leverage the skills of the TPS team and wider Volkswagen Group to drive profitable sales growth.
