iSMART Research Group Lab Assistant (Student Placement)
£23,557 per annum
This is a full-time /fixed term student placement opportunity for 12.5 months.
Please note that this role is only open to NTU students on a Physics or Engineering Sandwich course. Applications from those not a current student at NTU on a Physics of Engineering sandwich course (undergraduate or postgraduate) will not be considered.
About the Role
The Student placement appointed to the role of "iSMART Research Group Lab Assistant" will assist the Group with various tasks relating to live R&D and commercial projects, as well as with student projects (final year projects in any Physics or Engineering course, in the School of Science and Technology). The post holder will be expected to engage with a variety of NTU staff (academic, research, technical staff, as well as professional services staff based in Purchasing, Digital Technologies, Estates etc). The post is based within the iSMART Research Group (part of the Physics Department in the School of Science and Technology), which is located in the MTIF Building on the Clifton Campus.
