Role Summary
An exciting job opportunity has arisen to join the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) as a Network Co-ordinator within the Exeter South West Peninsula Interstitial Lung Disease Service in the Royal Devon, Eastern Services, Department of Respiratory Medicine, for hours a week. The Exeter ILD Service provides a regional service covering the South West Peninsula (Devon, Cornwall and parts of Somerset and Dorset) in addition to supporting the local patients within the Eastern respiratory team at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

The successful candidate’s role will be to provide service administration, project management and development. Manage day to day operational tasks within the Interstitial Lung Disease Service, such as developing project plans, collecting data and highlight reports. They will support the delivery of good governance within the service through tasks such as developing Interstitial Lung Disease policies. They will also provide support for any communication and engagement plan, including e-communication.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Interstitial Lung Disease and experience of working within respiratory medicine and/or related research. You will need to show in your job application how you meet the requirements of the person specification.
The ILD service at the Royal Devon and Exeter are a dynamic team who are keen to provide opportunities for staff development in their speciality and respiratory medicine. You will be supported by the existing team which includes ILD consultants, ILD Nurses, ILD MDT Co-ordinator, and service administrators. Key within this team is your opportunity to contribute to advancement and quality improvement of the ILD service.
The job description is a band 5 role and whilst you will need to show how you meet the requirements of the person specification please take into account the ILD aspect of the role within your application.
Working hours per week (no bank holidays or weekends)

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 6-7 rates, inclusive of a pay award implemented from April 6. If you join before this date,, remuneration will be based on the 5-6 pay bandings (Pay scales for 5/ | NHS Employers)
