This well known client operates within the construction industry and is one of the larger organisations within their sub-specialism. They stand out for all of the right reasons, securing and delivering on some of the biggest and best projects in the UK. Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities
* Processing high volume weekly and monthly payrolls for employees
* Ensuring that statutory regulations are adhered to
* Excellent use of and proficiency with Sage 50
* Collaboration with internal departments for new starters or changes in employee circumstances
* Maintain and update payroll records
* Respond to staff queries relating to payroll
* Prepare documents such as P60s and P45s
Qualifications
* Sage 50 experience
* End to end payroll experience
* Understanding of the statutory regulations
