Job Description
Qualified Social Worker, Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, Children Care Planning & Adoption Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team
Our client is looking for a qualified Social Worker with 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children’s Social Work team
The team work extremely well together to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager
The responsibilities will include:
• Experience writing Child Permanence Reports, Court Reports, all documents relating to the linking matching and placement of children for adoption
• Family finding, linking and matching children, attendance at Panel as well as supporting adoptive placement
• Direct work with children, preparing children for transitions and moving to their adoptive placements
• Keep accurate case records
• Manage complex care planning
• Court Work
• Liaise with other professionals
• 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
• 3 month Temporary Contract
• Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance
