Main Duties and Responsibilities
4 programmes reflect our strategic objectives which are to prioritise prevention, end rough sleeping and destitution,support the transition to rapid rehousing and provide platforms for lived experience.
You will draw on your knowledge, skills and experience to:
1. Take a highly relational approach that builds and nurtures the key relationships needed to achieve policy andprogramme objectives.
2. Create opportunities to influence, improve and implement policy and to brief internally and across our widernetworks.
3. Oversee multi-agency programmes to end homelessness and destitution, with a strong focus on delivering equality,impact and improvement.
4. Analyse the impact of Homeless Network Scotland’s strategic plan periodically and collaborate across theorganisation to review and revise impact measures.
5. Develop and deliver clear and consistent policy positions across all our activities, based on best availableevidence and diverse experience.
Working as part of the leadership team to:
6. Contribute to the strategic development and direction of Homeless Network Scotland, supporting equality, impactand improvement and mitigating risks and issues.
7. Provide inspiring leadership across the organisation, promoting a culture of collective responsibility that helpsan expert and dedicated team to achieve their potential.
8. Work to deliver relevant and timely media statements, briefings, blogs and articles.
9. Monitor, review and continuously improve the satisfaction of Homeless Network Scotland members and the widernetwork.
10. Schedule and submit quality and compliant reports to Homeless Network Scotland's various funders asrequired.
And working as part of the full team at Homeless Network Scotland to:
11. Adopt an evidence-based and solutions-focused approach to resolving homelessness.
12. Centre lived experience and raise knowledge and awareness of how different groups experience homelessness and theaction needed to reduce housing inequality.
13. Build and maintain a knowledge of the network of sectors and services that prevent and respond to homelessness inScotland.
14. Support fundraising and income generation and create opportunities for the organisation to be commissioned asexperts and consultants.
15. Represent Homeless Network Scotland in accordance with our vision and values, policies and procedures andcontribute flexibly to the range of our work required to meet our objectives.

About The Job
The Director of HR and Corporate Services is at the heart of the business. Taking a lead on the HR, Risk, Legal andCompliance functions, this role is responsible for all internal operations, and also supports centralfunctions.
A strong part of our culture is local accountability and as such this role will enable others to make decisions,devolving appropriate responsibilities on areas such as HR, procurement, contract management and facilities toother parts of the organisation while taking a strategic overview.
This is a new role where the postholder will have scope to review and update responsibilities, in conjunction withthe CEO, to ensure the function works across the organisation.

Main Areas of Responsibility
* Governance: Ensure the correct governance arrangements, practices and systems are in place; are followed; andreviewed.
* Improvement projects: Take the lead on improvement projects across the organisation, involvingappropriate people and teams.
* Business continuity: Ensure planning for business continuity isdocumented, prepared for and regularly reviewed.
* Health and Safety: Chair the health and safetycommittee and oversee implementation of policies and appropriate reporting
* Data Protection: Ensure ourinformation management systems and retention schedules are up to date and information is secure, this includesIT security and support.
* People development: lead on Impactful People, our people development andfeedback programme.
* Contractor management: direct and support external contractors on marketing,fundraising, people development and other projects.
* Oversee the work of the Directorate of CorporateServices team providing strategic decision making, professional guidance and support.

Required Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running in this role and therefore we require candidates tohave:
* Experience of working at a senior level within an organisation;
* Knowledge and understanding of thecharity sector, preferably as an employee or a trustee
* Significant experienced of peoplemanagement;
* Preferably qualified to CIPD Level 7 (or equivalentexperience/qualification);
* Demonstrable knowledge of the legal and regulatory landscape of all aspectsof corporate services to ensure understanding and compliance, including: HR; data protection; health and safety;and charity governance;
* Excellent project management and planning skills and be able to translatestrategies into operational plans;
* Experience in coaching and developing members of a new team isdesirable.
* Ability to think strategically and creatively while demonstrating good judgement whenanalysing and responding to complex issues.
* Works well under own initiative; is an effective member of aleadership team; and a skilled collaborator across an organisation.
* Highly organised with strongattention to detail.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Regional Family Support Team to ensure the delivery of high-qualitysupport to people who are living across the East of Scotland who have a family member in prison.
Our Regional Manager will:
* Lead a team of staff and social work students to provide 1:1, family work in family homes, community venues,prison, and/or prison visitor centres.
* Liaise and contribute to key local and community forums such asCommunity Planning Partnerships, Third Sector Interface meetings, or Local Authority partners’meetings.

• Has strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to work closely with the people we support, their families andteams, as well as multidisciplinary partners, to support and sustain the highest standards of practice.
• Is able to confidentially role model excellent practice in line with our values, through a thriving community ofpractice leaders and positive behaviour practitioners as well as contribute to external networks andinitiatives.
• Has strong project management and IT skills to support the implementation of effective processes, systems and toolswhich measure and demonstrate the impact of our strategies.
You will have a recognised social care or relevant professional qualification and while a recognised PBS/BILDqualification would be advantageous, this is not essential as we will offer support to attain this.

Rock Trust are delighted to be expanding the successful ‘Housing First for Youth’ service into Glasgow. We arelooking for a team member who has experience of supporting young vulnerable people accessing our services. Therole will involve working intensively with a small caseload of young people to coordinate and provide emotionaland practical support.
The Project Worker will work directly with young people to coordinate and provide emotional and practical support ona 1:1 and group basis. Working with young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to ensure that whenhomelessness can’t be avoided, their experience of homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
The Project Worker will offer line management, guidance, and support to Support Assistants and volunteers, workingtogether to support young people to return or remain at home, improve their practical independent living skills,set up their own tenancy and access other services and to reach their full potential. Project Workers areresponsible for completing support plans and risk assessments and are the main contact for any key peopleinvolved in the care and support of young people.
In addition to the responsibilities in the JD, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
