Smyth & Co are excited to be partnering with one of London’s most exclusive and fast-evolving private members’ clubs to appoint a standout Financial Controller.
This is a key leadership role within a highly regarded business, combining heritage, pace, and a genuinely dynamic culture. You’ll be at the heart of the operation, working closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, strategy, and control across a multi-revenue hospitality environment.
What we’re looking for:
* Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA
* Strong background in hospitality - ideally within a hotel or private members’ club
* Proven experience in cashflow management and financial planning
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to influence at all levels
* Strong IT and systems knowledge (comfortable working across finance platforms and reporting tools)
* Commercially astute, detail-driven, and highly organised
The role:
* Full ownership of the finance function
* Leading budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
* Delivering clear, insightful reporting to senior stakeholders
* Supporting operational teams with commercial decision-making
* Managing relationships with external partners, auditors, and suppliers
* Driving continuous improvement across systems, controls, and processes
