You will
1. Support the Transactions Manager to lead and manage transactional finance processes, including debt recovery and purchase-to-pay.
2. Support and develop team members to deliver high-quality service.
3. Identify opportunities to improve systems and procedures.
4. Collaborate across departments to ensure financial controls are maintained.
About you
You should be educated to SCQF level 7 or have the relevant skills and experience for this role. You can find more about SCQF Level 7 on their website.
You should have:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar finance environment
5. Strong understanding of financial controls and integrated accounting systems
6. Excellent Excel and Word skills, with a keen eye for detail and analysis
7. Confident communicator who can adapt to different audiences and build positive relationships
8. A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
Desirable extras:
9. Experience with Oracle financial systems.
10. Membership of professional bodies such as the Institute of Credit Management or CIPS.
11. Knowledge of public sector finance and debt recovery legislation.
