Graduate Project Manager (Delivery) – Based in Chester, Redhill, Reading and Swansea.
As a Graduate Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on multi-disciplinary engineering projects from concept, through outline and detailed design, construction and handover. Our team provides clients in the UK water sector with professional services, typically ranging from feasibility studies and outline design to design for construction and site supervision. We support projects which involve upgrades or new build works to assets such as pipe networks, reservoirs, water treatment works and sewerage treatment works.

Responsibilities
* Assist the Project Manager in ensuring scope and deliverables are clearly defined
* Assist to plan, execute, monitor and control projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder management
* Contract management, predominantly under the NEC suite of contracts. For example assessing applications for payments and updating monthly programmes
* Deliver projects to the As-Sold financial metrics or better
* Manage the overall coordination of the project team
* Balance the needs of multiple projects
* Organise professional client meetings, taking and distributing minutes and following up on actions
* Liaise with internal and external clients to develop relationships across the business
* Create and review proposals and costings for new projects
* Assess the technical and commercial risk of projects during the sales process
* Ensure H&S and Quality procedures are being implemented on site
* Assist in ensuring project completion and handover are undertaken successfully

Attributes
* Motivated to manage impactful water and environmental projects
* Interested in working towards a professional qualification in Project Management
* Hold a degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) discipline or a degree in a different discipline with strong STEM A-levels
* Driven to develop and improve technical skills and advance your career
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Working knowledge of Microsoft programmes such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Able to work under time pressure and balance multiple priorities
* Previous experience in a project management or technical engineering role is an advantage but not required
