The ideal candidate will come from a horticulture or landscaping background with strong experience in hard landscaping such as paving, walling, fencing and full garden builds and be looking to move into education, using their skills to train and develop others.

The Role
* Deliver practical, hands-on landscaping and horticulture training
* Teach key areas including paving, walling, fencing, planting and garden construction
* Support learners in developing real, job-ready skills
* Plan and deliver engaging sessions aligned to industry standards
* Monitor, support and track learner progress
* Contribute to the ongoing development of courses and training materials
* Work closely with the wider curriculum team and industry partners
* Full-time, permanent position based in York
The Person
* Experienced landscaper or horticulture professional
* Strong background in hard landscaping (paving, walling, fencing, full garden builds)
* Knowledge of planting schemes, maintenance and garden design
* Takes pride in high-quality workmanship and industry standards
* Looking to move into a more structured, less physically demanding role
* Interested in developing others and passing on their skills
* No teaching experience required-full training and qualifications provided
