Main Responsibilities/Tasks (not limited to)
* Contribute to preparing and delivering high quality technical and commercial proposals in line with customer requirements and company standards.
* Review client enquiries and ensure all requirements and technical specifications are accurately incorporated into proposals.
* Organise and coordinate proposal activities to meet submission deadlines.
* Support engineering and internal teams to develop optimised technical solutions.
* Contribute to key proposal deliverables
* Create Technical Requisitions/Datasheets for key equipment
* Identify and evaluate new suppliers and technologies.
* Issue enquiries to sub suppliers and review offers for technical and commercial compliance.
* Provide input to tender cost calculations and support the development of competitive pricing strategies.
* Contribute to the development of best practices for proposal preparation and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with sub suppliers throughout the proposal process.
* Support proposal meetings and ensure alignment on objectives and timelines.
* Attendance at client premises for bid clarifications/kick off meetings.
Compliance
* Prioritise HSE/Q in all aspects of the business.
* Ensure tendering processes comply with established procedures.
Competence Requirements
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualification).
* Water Treatment and/or Offshore industry experience.
* Possess strong contractual and commercial understanding
* Fluent in English with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Office Hours:
37.5 hours per week in the Glasgow office (Hamilton Technology Park). Some out of hours support may be required on an adhoc basis.
