Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Specialist Cardiac Physiologist/Healthcare Scientist to join our team working across Swansea Bay University Health Board.
We would welcome applications from either qualified Cardiac Physiologists/Cardiac Scientists.
Morriston hospital is a tertiary centre that provides a wide range of invasive and non‑invasive cardiac investigations.
Role
We are seeking motivated individuals to integrate into the team, who have experience and knowledge in a wide range of cardiac investigations. Candidates should be enthusiastic and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
We are committed to providing learning and development opportunities to all of our staff. The department offers a wide range of invasive and non‑invasive investigations. Investigations include physiologist‑led exercise testing, 24‑hour ECG and BP monitoring and event recording. We provide a 24‑hour primary PCI service alongside complex PCI and interventional techniques, TAVI service. We operate a busy Pacemaker and ICD implant and follow‑up service to include the use of remote monitoring, EPS + complex ablation and mapping procedures. We also carry out Physiology‑led clinics. The department is a teaching hospital and is actively involved in research. We are also participating in a number of clinical research trials. Qualifications
Suitable candidates would hold a BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology), STP Msc in Cardiac Science or PTP BSc in Cardiac Science. Hold registration with RCCP or AHCS.
