Team Leader Sector: Warehouse / Logistics / Supply Chain Location: Wolverhampton area Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Negotiable, DOE Shift Pattern: Rotating AM / PM shift pattern ISQ Recruitment is supporting a busy warehouse and logistics operation in the search for a Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with previous team leadership or supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics or fast-paced operational environment, who is comfortable leading from the front and keeping standards high across safety, quality and performance. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the shift, helping manage workflow, coaching team members, and making sure processes are followed correctly. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to stay close to the operation and support the wider team in delivering against customer and business requirements. What You’ll Be Doing Leading a team during shift and helping ensure the operation runs smoothly Supporting productivity, workflow and daily performance targets Coaching and guiding team members on processes and standards Delivering shift briefings and keeping communication clear across the team Making sure training and related records are kept up to date Promoting a safe working environment and following site procedures Supporting quality standards and helping reduce errors or issues Monitoring throughput and responding to operational challenges as they arise Supporting investigations, corrective actions and general problem solving Helping drive good housekeeping, process discipline and continuous improvement activity Supporting Lean and 5S standards across the department What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar role Experience within warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or supply chain operations A practical and organised approach, with confidence leading people on shift Good communication skills and the ability to deal with issues calmly and clearly Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Good IT skills and confidence using operational systems Awareness of Lean, 5S or continuous improvement principles would be beneficial Benefits Competitive salary 23 days annual leave Employee Assistance Programme On-site canteen facilities How to Apply Please click apply now, or send your CV to jobs@isqrecruitment.co.uk or call 01603 369 500 for more information.
