Production Supervisor
Enstone, Chipping Norton
£16.50 - £17.00 per hour, DOE
Day shifts, Monday - Thursday
This is a permanent role.
We are recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and productive operation of a manufacturing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, drive performance, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Working Hours:
* Monday - Thursday
* 3 weeks on 06:00 - 18:00 & 1 week on 18:00 - 06:00
* 20% uplift for night shifts
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support production teams to achieve quality, delivery, and performance targets.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and operational procedures.
* Coordinate production schedules and communicate priorities across shifts.
* Monitor production performance, waste, scrap, and consumable costs.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.
* Manage stock levels and production reporting.
* Coordinate maintenance activities and minimise machine downtime.
* Develop team skills through training, coaching, and cross-functional development.
* Monitor attendance, team performance, and employee engagement.
Requirements:
* Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Experience monitoring production KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of quality standards, audits, and health & safety.
* Injection or compression moulding experience (desired but not essential).
* Tool changing and machine setting experience (desired but not essential).
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Forklift licence (desired but not essential).
