The Fostering Recruitment Lead plays a key role in attracting, engaging and progressing prospective foster carers from first enquiry through to approval. Working closely with colleagues across marketing/communications, assessment and training, the post holder ensures a responsive high quality journey for prospective foster carers.
The post holder will contribute to a first class recruitment strategy to attract prospective foster carers for Devon County Council. This includes planning and facilitating a wide range of events and activities.
Through excellent communication, organisation and a strong focus on the service, the role helps to increase the number and diversity of foster carers - contributing directly to safe, stable and nurturing homes for our children and young people.
