Role Requirements
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Confident working in a customer‑facing environment.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Ability to deal confidently and competently with internal and external customers, both in person and on the telephone.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Experience of data input.
* Experience dealing with a multi‑national customer base.
* Background in manufacturing.
* Working knowledge of Epicor.
Role Responsibilities
* Processing customer orders using the company software.
* Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone.
* Answering questions on price and availability by telephone and email.
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
* Producing paper and electronic invoices.
* Cover for other C.S. assistants when out of the office.
* Advising internal customers i.e. Sales of any key account activity.
* Taking sales orders and enquiries by telephone.
* Full understanding of the company product range.
* Flexible working to be able to support other departments such as Sales when required.
