At Malaberg, logistics is a core part of how we build and grow our brands. As we expand across the UK and US, we’re strengthening the systems that move products between suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and customers.
We’re looking for a D2C Logistics Manager to take ownership of our freight network and international logistics operations. You’ll coordinate shipments across multiple shipping lanes, manage freight forwarders and 3PL partners, and ensure the reliable flow of raw materials and finished goods across our supply chain.
You’ll play a key role in making sure our logistics operations remain reliable, efficient, and scalable as our business continues to grow internationally.
Your Responsibilities
* Own Malaberg’s international freight network across key shipping lanes, including EU → UK (road), UK domestic transport, and UK ↔ US shipments (air and sea).
* Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport carriers, ensuring reliable and responsive logistics partners.
* Oversee UK and US 3PL partners, monitoring fulfilment performance, shipping accuracy, and operational KPIs.
* Coordinate shipments of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and fulfilment partners.
* Ensure all freight bookings, shipment scheduling, and transport arrangements are executed accurately and within required timelines.
* Maintain accurate customs documentation and compliance for all cross-border shipments.
* Establish and maintain backup freight partners to ensure continuity across critical shipping routes.
* Create and maintain a centralised tracking system for shipments, costs, timelines, and customs documentation.
* Identify and resolve operational issues such as shipping delays, customs clearance challenges, or misrouted deliveries to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and fulfilment operations.
Key Experience & Skills
* Proven experience managing international freight operations across road, air, and sea, with the ability to independently coordinate complex shipping routes.
* Strong working knowledge of freight forwarding, customs brokers, and international shipping documentation, with the ability to navigate cross-border logistics challenges.
* Experience managing UK, EU, and US logistics lanes, including customs compliance and import/export documentation requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to source, evaluate, and onboard freight partners, ensuring reliable and responsive logistics support.
* Operational mindset with a track record of taking ownership of shipments, resolving logistics disruptions, and keeping goods moving without delays.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple shipments, logistics partners, and timelines simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve freight, customs, or transport issues when they arise.
* Experience building structured shipment tracking, documentation, and reporting systems to improve visibility and operational control.
* Clear and confident communicator able to coordinate effectively with manufacturers, suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
