The Opportunity
We are looking for a BI Developer to join our Professional Services team.
In this role, you will design, build and enhance business intelligence solutions that enable our clients to make better, data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality ETL processes, data models and reporting solutions that meet agreed technical standards and business requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex data challenges within the Private Markets space, collaborating with experienced analysts, architects and senior developers in a high-performing, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Translate agreed business requirements into scalable technical BI solutions
Develop and maintain ETL processes using in-house tools
Build and enhance SSAS multidimensional and Tabular models, including advanced DAX calculations
Apply BI and data warehousing best practices to deliver robust reporting solutions
Support client users by troubleshooting data and reporting issues
Execute testing, defect resolution and QA activities
Contribute to prototyping and design discussions under guidance
Collaborate with peers and support junior developers through knowledge sharing
Proactively identify and escalate risks, blockers or data quality issues
What We're Looking For
Core Technical Expertise
Strong SQL Server development skills (T-SQL, stored procedures, optimisation)
Experience developing SSAS Multidimensional and Tabular models
Strong DAX skills
Experience with ETL development and data warehousing methodologies
Familiarity with Azure data services and modern data platforms
Experience working with Data Vault and Kimball modelling approaches
