The successful candidate will play a key role in programming, setting and operating CNC machinery, producing both one-off components and batch work to high precision standards.
This position offers long-term stability within a well-equipped workshop and excellent working conditions.
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist Program, set and operate XYZ CNC milling machines and live-tooling lathes Work confidently with SIEMENS ShopMill and ShopTurn controls Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings Produce high-quality one-off and batch work Maintain accuracy and efficiency while meeting production targets Work closely with the Workshop Manager and production team Requirements of a CNC Machinist Strong experience in CNC milling and turning Highly competent with SIEMENS controls (ShopMill & ShopTurn essential) Ability to program, set and operate independently Experience producing precision components and varied work Flexible approach and strong attention to detail Looking for a long-term role within a growing engineering business What's on Offer £17–£18 per hour depending on experience 40-hour working week with early Friday finish 23 days holiday plus statutory holidays Stable, long-term opportunity within an expanding engineering company Excellent workshop environment and supportive team Disclaimer At Venatu Recruitment Group, your right to privacy is important to us.
