Document Controller - (Wastewater Treatment Projects)
The Role & Candidate:
Glanua Ltd is a progressive organisation in the water and wastewater industry. Due to continued success in the Business, the company is expanding with several dynamic and exciting roles. They seek a Document Controller to work on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
The Document controller's primary focus is information Management, which ensures the successful delivery of our client requirements throughout all project phases. The role will be based in our Reading office.
The ideal candidate will manage all project information, ensuring accuracy, quality, and data integrity while enhancing digital project delivery processes for efficient projects. This role ensures seamless collaboration and communication between Glanua and all other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work within the Glanua digital delivery team to consistently achieve quality deliverables across our project portfolio. They must monitor the quality of information shared on the project CDE, the exchange of information between the Glanua and Client CD, and Ensuring all deliverables comply with our BEP. They must ensure all project stakeholders align with Glanua 's digital delivery strategy. They will report on non-conformance and offer corrective guidance to the project team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Document Controller are outlined as follows:
* Document Management: Manage and track all project documents using a cloud-based system, ensuring accuracy, version control, and proper archiving in line with company policies.
* Quality and Compliance: Ensure documents meet company standards, project requirements, and legal or contractual obligations.
* Information Distribution: Distribute documents and notify stakeholders promptly and accurately. Assure delivery of information exchanges between Glanua CDE and Client CDE.
* Digital Delivery: Set up and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) for efficient digital project management.
* Collaboration Support: Facilitate workflows, manage permissions, and provide training on document control and CDE processes.
* Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of project data and workflows.
* Reporting: Generate and share document control and information management reports with stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
The prior knowledge, skills and experience required of the Digital Coordinator are outlined as follows:
Qualifications:

* Education: Preferably HND in information management, Business administration, Construction Management, or a related field is desirable.
* Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in document control, with at least one year of experience in BIM project environments.
* Training or certification in document control or records management (e.g., Certified Document Control Professional (CDCP)) is advantageous.
Skills:
* Proficiency in document control software (e.g., BIM 360/ACC, ProjectWise, Aconex, Procore, Viewpoint) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Understanding the relevant Digital/BIM standards (ISO19650 or previously PAS1192) is desired but not essential.
* Digital Savvy with I.T skills
