Essential:
* 1 - 3 years of financial markets sales experience
* Understanding of financial markets and relevant academic theories
* Proven personal interest in financial markets and investments
Desirable:
* Fixed income sales experience, particularly high yield sales

Department Overview:
The ING UK Fixed Income Sales Team covers UK, Swiss, and MENA institutional investors for SSA/IG/EM/HY credit products, as well as European Tier 1 investors for EM/HY credit products. Clients include (global) Asset Managers, Insurers, Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Banks, and other credit investors.
Products and services include cash bonds (primary/secondary), research, private placements, loans held for trading, credit derivatives, and structured credit products.
This team is part of a Global Financial Markets Sales organization with over 300 colleagues worldwide, working closely with DCM, syndicate, trading, research, and other units to deliver value to clients and the organization.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Focus on High Yield and Credit distribution to UK institutional investors.
* Develop and maintain relationships with Tier 1 real money and hedge fund clients, acting as a backup for other team members covering EM/IG/HY clients.
* Map out your client base proactively and engage across the ING value chain, including Issuance, Trading, eSales, and Research.
* Lead efforts to build and institutionalize relationships by introducing key ING colleagues and delivering value to clients and internal stakeholders.
