The Role -Service Engineer Working within the service team, you will be involved in a wide range of workshop engineering and repair activities, including:
* Stripping, inspecting, repairing and rebuilding mechanical components and systems
* Fault-finding and carrying out repairs on customer equipment
* Functional testing of serviced and repaired equipment
* Preparing hire equipment and carrying out checks before dispatch
* Completing inspection reports and service paperwork accurately
* Maintaining workshop standards, tools, stock and test equipment
Skills & Experience-Service Engineer
* A mechanical engineering or workshop background
* Strong fault-finding and hands-on mechanical repair experience
* Experience working within a service, maintenance or repair environment
* Good communication and report-writing skills
* A practical, team-focused approach with good attention to detail
* Hydraulics or fluid power experience would be an advantage
