Behaviour Support Mentor – Alternative Provision (Behaviour Unit) Location: Pembrokeshire Agency: Teaching Personnel Salary: £89.38 per day Teaching Personnel is seeking a resilient, empathetic, and proactive Behaviour Support Mentor to work within a secondary school’s separate alternative provision unit in the Pembrokeshire area. This provision supports pupils who require a more tailored and structured environment than mainstream education. It operates independently from the main school building and offers a highly personalised approach to learning and behaviour support. About the Provision The Unit is a specialist setting designed to meet the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of pupils. Student timetables vary depending on individual needs, with a strong focus on re-engagement, relationship building, and developing life skills. In addition to core subjects, pupils access a range of vocational and practical activities outside of the traditional curriculum, including: Woodwork Welding Hair & Beauty Hands-on vocational learning opportunities Personal development and wellbeing sessions This is a nurturing yet firm environment where consistency, patience, and strong boundaries are essential.
