Responsibilities
* Lead overall delivery of major water projects and programmes, with a focus on design and construction (D&C) activities and contractor collaboration.
* Be a strategic, hands-on leader guiding Project Managers and teams to deliver large-scale projects and programmes.
* Collaborate with the Major Projects Discipline & Market Area Director and Regional Leadership teams to implement commercial and risk management strategies across projects and programmes.
* Support growth of the Major Projects portfolio by building capability and capacity within the D&C environment.
* Operate across regional offices (e.g., Cardiff, Bristol, Exeter, Birmingham, Redditch, Derby) and work on significant SRO projects and water frameworks (e.g., Welsh Water, South West Water engineering frameworks).
About You / Qualifications
* Project leader with a track record delivering successful Major Projects within a multidisciplinary environment (preferably in the water sector).
* Strong understanding of design for construction and the commercial acumen to deliver successful financial outcomes.
* Proven ability to manage stakeholders and demonstrate HSSE leadership and wellbeing best practices.
* Chartership status with a relevant institution is preferred.
