Job Title: Project Manager
Based in Doncaster at the Bentley Works Facility, which offers manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance services using specialist equipment and precision tooling. The facility serves as the main hub for our internal piling and foundation equipment.
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team. The primary responsibility is the operational delivery and management of steel fabrication, including site installation, for the Fabrication Business Stream. The role involves early involvement in the design and manufacturing process, as well as managing all pre-commencement and on-site activities related to steel/metalwork installations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure quality management compliance of all site operations, working closely with the manufacturing and design teams to meet CDM requirements.
* Provide preconstruction advice and assistance during enquiry and estimating phases.
* Coordinate with the Production Manager in the fabrication facility for the build aspects of the project and liaise during fabrication.
* Collaborate with Design and Commercial Teams to ensure successful project delivery and recovery if needed.
* Manage communication with clients and stakeholders (internal and external).
* Oversee project handover, including compiling all completion documentation.
* Review employee performance and identify training needs in conjunction with Supervisors and Operatives for the Fabrication Installation team.
* Monitor and control budgets in collaboration with Procurement and Commercial teams.
* Make informed decisions related to project execution.
* Apply technical knowledge related to steelwork installation, structural design, and temporary works.
* Manage and inspect temporary works and oversee the preparation and management of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
* Manage Subcontractors throughout fabrication and installation processes.
