Aircraft Course Design Support in the Course Design Department

· The requirement is for support within the Course Design space, carrying out duties as a Training Design and Development Analyst, reporting to OC TDSO(C).
· Responsible for creating training materials, including Formal Training Statements (FTS), Learning Specifications (LSpec), and associated documentation.
· Requires Aeronautical Engineering Course Design experience.
· Experience in Military and/or Civil Aviation Engineering.
· Working knowledge of the Systems Approach to Training.
· Production of FTS derived from Role Performance Statements (RPS) for current and new courses, including single Service and Trade-specific courses.
· Conducting Element 2; Stage 2 and Stage 3 training design, including LSpecs, Assessment Specifications, and Learning Materials.
This position is an ongoing contract, working 37 hours per week for approximately 44.4 weeks per year, accounting for holiday shutdown periods. Holiday will accrue accordingly. Additional stand-down periods may occur during air shows, potentially adding a few weeks, to be discussed at interview.
Normal working hours are 08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Thursday, and 08:30 – 16:30 on Friday. Occasionally, work outside these hours may be required, with time off in lieu provided.
