Directorbank is searching for a Quality Director on behalf of our client in the Luton area.
Client
This UK-based manufacturer specialises in producing precision-engineered products made from stainless steel and high-value alloys used in demanding applications across the aerospace, medical, oil and gas, and nuclear energy industries.
Role
The Quality Director will be responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies, overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance, continuous improvement/LEAN methodologies, maintaining a trajectory of zero external defects and on-time delivery, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. The Quality Director will lead a talented team of quality and technical professionals.

We are looking for a strong Quality professional with experience managing a Quality function in a manufacturing or engineering business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, with significant experience in process improvements and fostering a strong quality culture backed by KPIs. This role is customer-centric, supporting the Global Commercial Director in NPI and customer relations. The candidate should be a driven, energetic leader capable of effective communication across all levels and integrating quality into all aspects of the business. As a key part of the company's talent pipeline and succession planning, the candidate should understand how the quality function contributes to overall growth and be proactive in driving business success.
