Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact
2. Build long-term, trusted relationships through a consultative, service-led approach
3. Secure energy contract renewals and identify cross-sell opportunities across the wider business
4. Generate new business primarily through client recommendations and referrals
5. Prepare for and attend client meetings with a strong understanding of client needs and contracts
6. Monitor energy market activity and provide informed guidance to clients
7. Maintain accurate CRM records, including meeting outcomes and follow-up actions
8. Ensure Letters of Authority are in place for all clients
9. Liaise with internal teams to resolve queries and share relevant client insights
10. Attend monthly team meetings and occasional external events or training sessions
11. Support colleagues and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
Travel & Working Style
12. Regular client visits across areas such as (and not limited to) Manchester, Hull, and Halifax
13. Full control over travel planning and diary management
Experience & Background
14. Proven experience in a service-led sales or account management role
(e.g. insurance, telecoms, utilities, or other brokered services)
15. A seasoned sales professional comfortable with both account management and light new business
16. Energy sector experience or interest is an advantage, but not essential

Essential Requirements
24. Excellent sales and negotiation skills
25. Good IT skills (CRM systems, Microsoft Office)
26. Ability to manage workload, priorities, and deadlines independently
27. Full, valid UK driving licence
