I'm looking for a talented and reliable video editor to join our team for long-form, faceless YouTube content in the niche of conspiracy/higher elites, journalism and storytelling.
You will receive fully written scripts and voice-overs, and your job is to turn them into captivating 8–12 minute videos that hook the viewer and keep them watching.
Most of the footage is provided. I expect you to add some additional footage relevant to the subject and video to enhance it.
What I Expect:
- YouTube pacing & rhythm: You know how to time cuts, visuals and transitions to match the flow of the narration.
- Strong visual storytelling: You can find and combine relevant clips, stock footage, animation, memes, images or screen recordings that support and enhance the story.
- Faceless editing style: You know how to keep a faceless video visually engaging, using B-rolls, zooms, overlays, captions and light effects (when relevant).
- No AI-only editing: Tools are allowed to assist, but your creative eye and hand are key. No auto-edits without refinement.
- Smooth transitions & edits: Nothing abrupt, nothing flashy unless it fits the content. Think clean, smart, immersive.
- Use of copyright-free footage: Only royalty-free visuals and sound effects.
Requirements:
- You have edited at least 3 full YouTube videos before (preferably documentary-style not just TikToks or Reels)
- Fluent in English to understand tone, nuance, and pacing
- Fast and reliable: able to deliver 3 video per week minimum, ideally more
- Willing to take feedback and iterate
- Final output in 1080p or higher
Rate: $22,50 per video (8–12 min long) $270 per month
