We have an open position for an operator for the Socket line working rotating shifts (Week 1: 06:00 – 16:00 Monday-Thursday, Week 2: 16:00-00:30 Monday-Thursday & 14:00 – 19:00 Friday) in Southend, Essex. You may be required to work other shift patterns.
Key Responsibilities
* Manually and automatically assemble products and identify improvements.
* Feed components and replenish materials for assembly/packing processes.
* Carry out activities in line with company procedures and process standard work.
* Ensure efficient running of assembly equipment.
* Participate in improvement teams and initiatives.
* Actively support waste reduction initiatives.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Must be able to read and understand quality documentation.
* Comply with all relevant health, safety, environmental and COSHH requirements.
* Complete first off quality samples and complete quality documentation.
* Ideally conversant with assembly systems.
* Good communicator at all levels.
