đĽ About the Role
As a Service Lead,youâll play a key role in the dayâtoâday running of our lively Kingsway supported living service in Skipton. Youâll be supporting three energetic, funâloving ladies who enjoy swimming, arts and crafts, going to the gym, discos, musical theatre, and staying active in their community.
Working closely with the Deputy Manager, youâll provide confident, valuesâled leadership while remaining handsâon and personâcentred. Youâll step up in the Managerâs absence and help ensure a safe, consistent and engaging environment where the ladies are supported to live life their way.
This role is 80% on shift and 20% off shift completing admin, though flexibility is essential as service needs may require full shiftâbased working at times.
đ ď¸ Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering highâquality, personâcentred support
2. Acting as a positive role model and supervising staff
3. Leading reviews with the ladies and key stakeholders
4. Developing, reviewing and maintaining support plans and risk assessments
5. Completing medication and finance audits
6. Supporting safeguarding processes alongside management
7. Supporting with household chores, shopping, medication management, and attending appointments
8. Supporting community activities and daily routines
9. Leading and contributing to team meetings

Youâll need to follow detailed support plans to ensure a consistent, safe and empowering approachâalways promoting choice, dignity and independence.

What Weâre Looking For
Essential:
13. Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification
14. Experience supporting people with learning disabilities
15. Strong understanding of PersonâCentred Care
16. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers
Desirable:
17. Previous experience leading or supervising a team
18. Full UK driving licence
đ Working Hours
19. 30 hours per week - full availability required
20. Mix of short shifts, long shifts, evenings and weekends
21. Sleepovers included
22. 80% on shift / 20% admin
23. May be fully shiftâbased at times
đ An enhanced Adult DBS check will be required for this role.
