Head of Equity Business Development & Sales Strategy
Location: London | Working from home up to 40% | Reference: 6684
SIX Group is seeking a senior sales professional with over 10 years of experience and a deep understanding of the equity product space.
You will bring expert knowledge of exchange market models, electronic trading, and industry trends, not just surface-level understanding but a genuine passion for expanding your expertise and becoming a subject matter expert for existing and prospective clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead sales and business development initiatives for the equities segment of both SIX Swiss Exchange and SIX BME Exchange in London.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, develop, and execute sales opportunities with leading institutional UK members and new clients.
* Lead our Execution Consultancy efforts by analyzing member usage and behavior to improve performance and maximize revenues.
* Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue, market penetration, and client segmentation.
* Market equity products and services within the UK and Ireland to achieve revenue, product penetration, and market share targets.
* Collaborate with Product Managers and support teams across London, Zurich, and Madrid to create new products, services, and analytics, ensuring successful launch and adoption.
Qualifications and Skills
* At least ten years of sales and business development experience with strategic planning skills.
* Established network within major equity market trading participants.
* Understanding of exchange market models, electronic trading, and industry trends, with knowledge of Swiss and Spanish markets preferred.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with a professional demeanor.
* Ability to manage relationships at all levels within member firms.
