Salary: £53,000 £65,000 (depending on experience)

About the School
Opening in April 2026, our brand-new independent special school, Lynwood Schoolin Stanton-on-the-Wolds, Nottinghamshire, will provide a nurturing and personalised education for up to 25 students with Autism and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the school from its very beginning, shaping its ethos, curriculum, and culture.
The Role
We are seeking an inspirational Headteacher with proven leadership in special education to:
* Lead the school through its pre-opening and launch phase.
* Develop and implement a high-quality, individualised curriculum.
* Recruit, lead, and motivate a small but dedicated staff team.
* Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing, and outcomes for students.
* Build strong relationships with parents, local authorities, and the wider community.
About You
* Experienced leader in SEN (Autism/SEMH experience highly desirable).
* Qualified Teacher with a strong track record in school leadership.
* Passionate about inclusive education and committed to making a difference.
* Able to establish and grow a school culture based on care, respect, and achievement.
