Winner Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a primary school based in Kings Norton. Applicants must be readily available due to the urgency of the position to start immediately on a long-term basis. The role will be working as a general TA across a KS2 class on a full time basis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Be actively involved in daily routines of classes, groups or individual learners
Deliver, monitor and record pupil educational programmes, both inside and outside of the classroom
Support the class teacher in tailoring lesson planning to deliver to the pupils
Prepare materials and resources for lessons
Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions
Attend staff meetings
Provide classroom cover in the absence of the class teacher
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
Have a minimum Level 2 qualification, or have a significant number of years experience
Demonstrate initiative
Ability to work co-operatively with all teaching staff
Have previous experience working with KS2 pupils
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
