Role:
Act as the main point of interface between Programmes, including constituent Projects, and the finance team.
Support the project financial reporting process and ensure that rigour and challenge is brought to the process in terms of actual cost incurred and expected cost to complete.
Work closely with Commercial team to ensure billings are presented accurately and fully supported, allowing cash to flow to be maximised.
Work with project and programme managers to ensure accurate and meaningful financial performance data is clearly presented on a regular basis, both P&L and BS.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tasks are performed in conjunction with program managers and functional managers
* Generate financial reporting packages and provide counsel to program managers on variances
* Baseline development and maintenance, performance management and estimate at complete development and analysis
* Implement, monitor, report and analyse program budget and / or schedule
* Perform earned value management including implementation, maintenance, reporting and analysis
* Organise cost and / or schedule date for monthly program reviews
* Prepare and monitor funding plans labour and subcontract / material / ODC forecast plans
* Complete analyse date for monthly forecast review including orders, sales, operating income and cash
* Prepare ETC / EAC estimates from program staff input
* Participate in presentations and group discussions at internal and external financial / schedule meetings
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the organisation to maintain a positive and productive work environment
* Perform other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills And Experience:
* Indepth knowledge and experience in utilising business principles, concepts, practices and standards
Long term engineering projects – civil or technical.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Experience with earned value management
* Ability to work in a team environment and embrace diversity contributions
* Positive attitude and willingness to take intiative
* Advance MS Office Suite skills include excel modelling
