An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Court of Protection Paralegal to join a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm, recognised for providing expert legal services to clients who require dedicated support in managing high-value settlements and estates.
About the Role
Due to growth within its award winning Court of Protection department, an opportunity to develop your expertise in a prestigious legal setting while making a meaningful impact on clients’ lives is on offer. You will work closely with individuals, families, and carers, offering practical and financial assistance, including:
 * Managing day-to-day finances and bill payments
 * Assisting with budgeting and financial planning
 * Coordinating purchases, including vehicles and essential expenditures
 * Conducting annual home visits to provide ongoing client support
The Candidate
The successful candidate must have prior experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal or working in Private Client within a fast‑paced environment. Essential skills include:
 * Strong financial judgment including budget management and payment processing.
 * Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
 * Exceptional communication skills, with a confident telephone manner.
 * Negotiation abilities, ensuring financial arrangements align with clients’ needs.
 * Proficiency in IT, particularly case management systems.
