Qualifications: Must hold an Education Mental Health Practitioner Qualification. Full‑time position but part‑time applications will be considered. Ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential.
Responsibilities
* Assess and deliver outcome‑focused, evidence‑based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, collaborating with and respecting the education function of the setting.
* Work in partnership to support children and young people, and their parents/carers, families and educators in managing presenting difficulties.
* Deliver evidence‑based interventions for children and young people in educational settings with mild to moderate mental health problems.
* Help children and young people with more severe problems to rapidly access specialist services.
* Support/facilitate staff in educational settings to identify and, where appropriate, manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
* Work with and within education environments to afford better access to specialist mental health services.
