Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and personable Front of House Manager to join our team. This is a varied role, perfect for someone who enjoys both client interaction and team leadership.
Duties
* Act as the first point of contact for clients, building strong and positive relationships.
* Manage daily administration including responding to emails, enquiries and managing bookings.
* Lead and oversee front‑of‑house operations at events, coordinating front‑of‑house staff, including servers and hosts, ensuring smooth service delivery.
* Assist in training new staff members in service protocols and customer engagement.
* Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold our reputation.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production schedules and menu updates as required to ensure client expectations are met.
* Monitor stock levels of front‑of‑house supplies and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
* Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and fostering a positive team environment.
* Uphold company standards of service, presentation and professionalism.
Requirements
* Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably with supervising or team management responsibilities.
* Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles such as catering or event management.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Organised and efficient with excellent attention to details and strong communication skills to liaise confidently with staff and customers.
* Able to adapt quickly and think on your feet in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
* Proficient in basic admin and computer skills (email, scheduling, spreadsheets).
