Role Summary
CMA Recruitment Group is currently supporting our Poole, Dorset client. Who is currently looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end payroll processes for a diverse workforce across multiple sites, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
* End‑to‑end payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees across weekly and monthly payroll cycles.
* Accurate processing and verification of timesheets, overtime, and payroll adjustments.
* Strong compliance knowledge, including HMRC reporting (FPS/EPS), statutory payments, and year‑end payroll processes.
* Excellent attention to detail when maintaining employee records, tax codes, pensions, and deductions.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to resolve payroll queries and work effectively with HR and Finance teams.
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in payroll processing with strong attention to detail.
* In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance standards.
* Excellent Excel skills and the ability to manage complex data accurately.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and proactively.
* Effective communication skills, approachable and professional when engaging with colleagues at all levels.
Additional benefits and information for the role of Payroll Specialist
* Salary of £30,000‑£35,000 depending on experience.
* 23 days holiday + BH increasing with years of service
* Office based
