TeacherActive is proud to be working closely with a primary school around the Chesterfield area who are looking to take on a learning support assistant to join their wonderful team.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will work alongside teachers in a classroom to help support and manage children in KS1 / Key stage 1 and KS2 / Key stage 2. You will be required to work with pupils in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis, supporting an appropriate and fun curriculum. There will be some SEND support – so experience in this is desirable.
The successful learning support assistant will have:
Relevant qualifications – either level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant
Experience working in Primary schools – KS1 or KS2
Experience working with SEN (desirable)
Great at building relationships with children and staff
