At Sovereign Network Group (SNG), we're pleased to have an opportunity for an InternalControls Analyst to join ourInternalControls Team, on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract. The Role: Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'lllead in the design, assessment, and embedding of internalcontrols that strengthen our compliance, reporting, and operationalresilience. This is a hands-on role where you'llsupport the business to design, formalise, and monitor controls, ensuring they map to risks and objectives, policy and process, and empower teams through training and workshops. Based from our office in Basingstoke, you'll combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance. Working in the office 2 days per week, Monday is our Team day. There may be some travel required with this role to our other offices, so you should be happy to travel and have access to transport. Key Responsibilities Work with the business to design, assess, and implement effective internalcontrols across SNG. Map new and existing controls to risks, process, and policy, and recommend new or improved controls where gaps are identified. Work withcontrol owners to build and monitor testing schedules. Prepare and present reports and presentations to stakeholders and leadership. Maintain, update, and monitor control libraries, supportingcontrol owners with reporting and testing. Support risk management, audit, and assurance activities, through alignment to controlactivities and supporting the business to be prepared for upcoming reviews. Analyse risk events, with research and process review, workingwithstakeholder to implement or improve robust controls. Promote a culture of continuousimprovement, inclusion, and customer focus across the organisation. What you'll bring: Strong knowledge of internalcontrols, risk management, and compliance. Experience designing and testing controls in a corporate and regulated setting. Strong stakeholdermanagement expertise, skilled in managing and influencing senior leadership with the ability to present complex information in a simple way to large and diverse groups. A detail-driven and analytical mindset, to identifyimprovement and issues. Passion for continuousimprovement and innovation, able to articulate value and customer focus. A good understanding of how to integrate controlactivities into business processes to comply withregulatory standards, relevant laws and business rules.
