Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Leeds to recruit a Maintenance Support Coordinator to join their team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Support Coordinator will be responsible for reacting and resolving day-to-day site issues whilst identifying and implementing improvements.
Duties of the Maintenance Support Coordinator include:
* Maintain plant efficiency by scheduling external planned maintenance and servicing
* Arranging external contractor requirements
* Monitor and communicate all site-planned activities.
* Promote and implement continuous improvement activities
* Ensuring completion of routine work orders and work requests
* Review of maintenance routines to ensure the best use of resources
* Ensure compliance with ATEX regulations and other safety standards
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
* Ensuring all EH&S activities are planned and communicated
* Encouraging 5S discipline and continuous improvement techniques
We would be keen to speak with Maintenance Support Coordinators with the following:
* Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification
* IOSH Managing Safety
* COMPEX / ATEX
* Experience working within a hazardous area (DSEAR)
* Great attention to detail
This role would best suit someone who can adapt to a complex, ever-changing work environment, can work in a systematic and organised way and is willing to train and develop within the business.
