To provide a comprehensive administration and clerical support service to an identified pathway within the Care Group. This includes the organisation of clerical workload, management of medical records and related documents, bed management information, receptionist and call handling duties.
The role involves dealing with queries from patients, service users, relatives and carers, inputting and updating data relating to the service and working with clinicians and partners for the service delivery.
As an apprentice within RDaSH, you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation, with around 20% of your working hours spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, organised and friendly individual with good attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The role includes greeting service users and visitors, dealing with general enquires, booking clinic rooms, managing email accounts, general administrative duties, data input, processing referrals, maintaining clinic diaries, management of medical records and related documents, and building duties.
Previous experience of working in the NHS or other large public sector organisation and using an electronic records system, such as SystmOne, would be desirable.
