Maintenance Assistant – Holiday Inn London West.
Holiday Inn London West Hotel is a 4* Hotel in Acton, West London that has 225 beautiful Executive and Deluxe Rooms, 7 large Meeting Rooms, a Gym, Restaurant and Bar which an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Maintenance Assistant – to join our team.
The Maintenance Assistant provides support to Maintenance Manager.
Key Objectives
· Assisting in all areas of the hotel's interior and exterior, via general maintenance work allocated by the Maintenance Department & Various Department through a service request system.
· Responsible for the efficient repair of all defects reported during your shift
· Dealing with Painting decorating, silicone, grout as reactive &PPM
· Dealing with electrical, sewage, plumbing, heating and lighting issues and will ensure that they are maintained in good working order and that any defects are corrected promptly.
· Meet outside contractors arriving at the hotel, ensuring clear instructions from the Maintenance Manager.
Skills

Additional Skills
· Health and Safety compliance.
· A good understanding of plumbing and plumbing systems.
· To be able to do basic carpentry.
· Skill in painting &decorating, silicone, plastering & grout
· Property Fire Safety.
· First Aid at work.
· Environmental impact awareness.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this is a Part time contract with 16 hours per week. You will be required to work flexibly including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays according the Rota and the business needs.
