We are currently supporting a prominent manufacturing business based in Bolton in their search for a proactive and commercially-minded Finance Business Partner. This role offers a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 plus a bonus and a strong pension. It presents an exciting opportunity to join a growing and well-regarded finance team within a high-performing production environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the finance lead for specific manufacturing programmes and cost centres.
2. Monitor and manage Unit Production Costs (UPCs), ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
3. Maintain effective control over departmental overheads.
4. Deliver meaningful management information to operational stakeholders.
5. Support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and related systems within the manufacturing function.
6. Provide insight and financial support to non-finance colleagues, contributing to better business decision-making.
About You
1. Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
2. Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering-led environment.
3. Solid background in overhead or project cost control.
4. Experience partnering with operational teams and senior stakeholders.
