MCR are recruiting for an experienced Site Surveyor / Draughtsman for our client based in Brierley Hill.

To support their expansion, we are looking for a Site Surveyor/Draughtsman who will be responsible for surveying and measuring projects onsite and drawing for customers using CAD software.
Key responsibilities and duties of the role are:
Liaising with customers to organise site survey visits.
Visiting the customer site to measure up the project for the installation of our steel partitioning.
Working with the customer to understand any specific requirements they might have.
Identification of potential problems such as uneven floors, pipework, electrical ducting etc.
Finalisation of site visit measurements and notes and drawing the project using CAD software (Archicad).
Working with the customer to resolve any queries for the drawing to be finalised and signed off by the customer prior to manufacture.
The ideal candidate should:
Have experience measuring up internal projects, preferably in the building or steel fabrication industry.
Have experience working with CAD software (Archicad or equivalent).
Be able to work with different customers to understand their requirements and deliver a high-quality service.
Be interested in learning about the product to be able to have the right conversation with customers.
Be able to work independently and manage their own diary to plan out a range of site surveys each week.
Be flexible to leave early in the morning if the customer wishes to meet on site at 9 a.m. (and finish early on the same day as a result).
Hold a full UK driving licence.
Rewards:
Salary of £28,000-£38,000 salary dependent on experience

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm
Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm
Flexibility of hours depending on customer requirements and site location
