A well-established UK legal services provider is seeking aSolicitor or CILEx Lawyerto manage a caseload of claimantpersonal injury matters valued up to £100,000. You will run bothlitigated and non-litigated claimsfrom instruction through to resolution, ensuring cases progress efficiently while delivering excellent client service.
Role Overview
* Manage a caseload of claimantRTA personal injury claims, including matters within theRTA PortalandIntermediate Track.
* HandleFixed Fee and Portal RTA claims, includinguntraced and uninsured MIB claims.
* Obtain and review appropriatemedical and non-medical evidenceto support and maximise claims.
* Issue proceedings through theCourt Portalwhere required and attend hearings or conferences with Counsel where necessary.
* Advise clients onlitigation risks, costs exposure and fundamental dishonesty considerations.
* Assess prospects of success throughout the lifecycle of each claim and manage cases accordingly.
* Liaise with defendant solicitors, insurers, medical agencies and counsel to progress claims effectively.
Experience Required
* QualifiedSolicitor or CILEx Lawyer(litigation rights or working towards).
* Experience running aclaimant personal injury caseload, including litigated and non-litigated claims withinRTA portals.
* Knowledge of theCivil Procedure Rules (CPR)and experience progressing claims in accordance with them.
* Experience working tofee income or settlement targets.
* Strong communication, organisation and client care skills.
* Experience handlingEL/PL or OL claimswould be advantageous but not essential.
