As a Project Manager, you will help drive our goals by:
1. Managing multiple capital projects (£1M+) to design and deliver bespoke Research Engineering equipment and infrastructure, including capital budget preparation, forecasting, and compliance with regulatory and JM requirements.
2. Leading cross-functional project teams to deliver cost-effective, technically feasible design solutions, covering scope definition, design, cost estimation, planning, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and change management.
3. Providing technical guidance and innovative solutions to stakeholders, managing risks, uncertainties, and conflicting priorities across sectors, sites, and vendors to ensure effective project execution.
4. Driving EHS and process safety performance through hazard studies, risk assessments, and leading project safety audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

9. Required qualifications and skills include:
* Experience managing R&D and pilot-scale capital projects, including commissioning equipment and conducting Process Hazard Assessments (HAZOP, PHR, LOPA).
* An engineering degree and IOSH Managing Safely qualification; proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on safety and high standards.
* A proactive, adaptable self-starter with strong communication skills, able to build strategic relationships and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
* A delivery-focused problem solver who balances accuracy with speed and provides innovative solutions to complex challenges.
