What we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced and articulate Solution Architect specialising in Salesforce within the Financial Services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either insurance (P&C, Health), banking or wealth/investments and deep experience of how to leverage Salesforce for value in these sectors. You will know how to use Salesforce to creatively design, explain, prototype and implement solutions for your client’s unique challenges. This is a lead role requiring strong consulting behaviours, deep understanding of an industry vertical and the ability to design and implement innovative Salesforce solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about being part of our Salesforce Financial Services community and be a steward of our team.
* As a Solution Architect, you will:
* Design and implement Salesforce solutions using Industries & Financial Services Cloud (FSC) for insurance, banking or wealth clients.
* Lead client stakeholders to gather processes and translate them into technical solutions.
* Develop leadership and consulting skills whilst delivering Salesforce at scale to deliver measurable client value in dynamic environments.
* Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
* Keep informed about the latest Salesforce Financial Services features and updates by engaging with Salesforce.
* Gain additional skills in solutioning, project management and client engagement through practical experience and training.
* Embed AI thinking when building out industry solutions.
We are looking for experience in the following skills
* Extensive experience with Salesforce Industries / Vlocity for Insurance and/or Financial Services Cloud
* Proven hands-on experience leading technical engagements through architecting, designing, building, and delivering integrated solutions on Salesforce
* Experience addressing key architecture concerns (scalability, performance, security, availability, etc.) in the context of Salesforce
* Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and management skills. A background in consulting or leading teams is required.
* Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, former Vlocity certifications, Agentforce Specialist).

* Industry-specific knowledge and experience leveraging leading Salesforce and ecosystem industry solutions
* Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect or equivalent industry Architect certifications
* Pre-sales solution architecture experience (solution shaping, delivery estimation and planning) is highly regarded
* Active Salesforce community participation and contributions
